hey, i just got my 06 typeS its my first manual i've owned. my question is when i park do i leave it in neutral or in first gear?

It's funny in a way. A lot of people will tell you that it's better to leave it in neutral because leaving it in first can damage the tranny, but others will say just the opposite. I've always left my car in 1st though.

It doesn't really matter!! Your choice, if you leave the e-brake on and put in gear the chances of it getting stolen(towed) are minmal, this helps also when on a hill. If you leave the e-brake on and in nuetral it won't kill you or mess the tranny up!! I've own two Rsx and no problemsss!!

first or reverse. I've been doing it for so many years, and have yet to see damage to any car, and I have had lots of them.

at what rpm's does the vtec kick in? And at what rpm's should i be at on the freeway when i'm going about 60 to 65 mph? i'm usually at 3300 rpm at that speed.is that bout right? or does it have to be under 3000 rpm?

i set the brake.. then put it in gear. so the tranny isnt holding the weight of the car.
