Default wheel offset

Im helping my friend find some wheels for his 02 type S and my other friend is selling his 17inch racinghart stock wheels from his MSP. Same bolt pattern and everything but just curious about the wheel offset. The stock offset is +45 on the type S wheel and the MSP has +55, should i be worried about rubbing problems, or is this just a lost cause?

Thanks.

The 55 will push the wheels out an extra 10mm from the center. The stock wheels are only 6.5" wide so if they are any wider the tires might rub, on the outside.(body) You may be able to roll the wheel wells and gain some additional clearance.

Thanks, ill have to check the tire dimensions on the 17s and we might be able to get them to tuck under.

How do you like the 325i? Not as much power as the rsx type s but i think its a lot more fun to drive haha.

It doesn't compare to the RSX-s. It still needs a lot of work. New suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, then engine work. Right now it kind of wallows on the road. It does have lsd though.

Well a +50 will fit w/o issues to compare. A +55 is more suitable for a DC5R with the BREMBO brakes.
