hey is there a top speed limiter on the 2002 rsx's or what, what is the highest some of u got urs up,

 

got mine to 145, they say that there is no limiter on it, I wouldn't go higher than that just because I still have stock tires. You can bury the needle though at 160 and it won't stop.

 

The RSX-s tops out at about 145, and you better be in 5th gear, 6th has no power. In stock form there is no way it can go faster, it just runs out of torque.

 

at those speeds doesnt the odometer get inaccurate?

what so u think is the most horses u could sweezz up of the k20a engines in rsx's, what time's in the quarter mile/ 0-60 .

I raise the :bs: CRSX in not the most beleiveable site in the world. Anyone saying that they are getting a stock RSX-s past 145-147 is flat out full of BS. The car simply doesn't have enough horsepower and torque to do it. Just because the speedo goes to 160 mph doesn't mean it can. Now I will believe 160Km per hour which is just barely less than 100mph. One clue as to the top speed of the car is the speed rating on the tires. The manufacturer is required to put tires on the car that have a speed rating that exceeds the expected top speed of the car. Stock tires on the RSX-s are V-rated which is good to 149mph.

 

with the added power of a turbo you should be able to do it in 6th... no??

 

well yes with added power you might be able to redline 6th and run outa gears, but we're talking about a stock S here
144-146 sounds about right
my R is limited to 143mph cause i run outa gears
