Default Remoe starter

Hi,

I have a remote starter (Direkt Start) on my car (Rsx type S). But unfortunaltely it's not working properly. Some time the car goes on for 3-4 seconds and then shut off. sometime the starter doesn't go on at all. I brought it back to fix it since I have warranty on it, they changed the module twice already, and i still have the same problem. I was wondering if maybe the car as a certain incompatibility with this type gadget. Because it's kind weird that they changed the whole unit and the exact same problem occurs.

Did anyone have this problem already?

please help me out on this.

Thanks
Jodip

you have to get the starter installed after the relay connecting the clutch instalment wire. then you will have to leave the car in neutral and pull up the hand brake. i thought companies don't install this on the type-s since it's illegal to have it in a stick shift car? i dunno i guess not.

sounds like you're having problems w/the immobilizer bypass if the car actually starts and then cuts off. which bypass module is being used? sounds like the module hasn't learned the proper code (specific to your key, and not the "valet" key)

Sounds like you need to go to a shop that knows what they're doing
