Shop around...
When I got my Prelude last yr I got it for $13k and another Dealer offered me an 03 Si new for $16,300. As much as I love my car (and I do) I shoulda gone with the Si b/c it was new. Being willing to drive a long way for a really good price, email all the dealers around and get quotes and if you get a new car for high $16s or close to it even if it's 200 miles, go for it.
it's worth it IMHO.
