What Should I Buy...Civic Si-R OR RSX
Hi...I jus joined this forum today...i'm about to purchase a car...this may/june...and i want to know What SHOULD I BUY ...i live in Canada so its gonna be wither the..
Honda Civic Si-R
OR
Acura RSX Premium PKG.
I Really would like a feed back from everyone to tell me or help with my choice...

Well If I had to choose I would say the RSX only because it's 200hp out the box and it has a 6 speed tranny. But if I needed a bit more space I would rather the civic .

Are you set on those 2 cars to choose from. Or are you going to explore the rest of the market before making your decision? Theres a lot out there to choose from! & When purchasing a brand new vehicle your most likely going to have it for a while so be sure you really like it!

is the si-r equivalent to the usdm 99-00 si? If so I would say go with that.. for ease of tuning and also available parts for lower prices... the rsx is a wonderful car but the ecu tuning for those vehicles is a nightmare to even the experienced. also rsx's have higher insurance I think.
if the si-r is the 02+ then I say its just a matter of choice and looks as you will be dealing with the exact same engine. mods etc will all be similar if not exactly the same.. the new si seats are in my books though and the shifter rocks so thats what I would probably end up getting

my friend has the base rsx..that things got some goooooood pickup and torque... lots of fun to drive
damn insurance is what kept him from getting the type-s...o well
