rsx-type s subwoofer
My friend has a '02 type s with the BOSE system and subwoofer in the spare tire. I was listening to his stereo and that subwoofer is really low. The base sucks. We thought the woofer wasn't sorking so we checked it in the trunk and it seem to be powered up. Is this woofer just a gimmick thing cause my stock gsr stereo sounds more basey than his rsx? Anyone noticed this problem?

The RSX TypeS does not have a subwoofer in it. It is a powered woofer (referred to as a rich-bass driver), and is not intended to rattle the windows. It's a little amp and a 5" driver, for christ's sake. It is adequate for reproduction of normal music, but not bass heavy shake ya ass kind of stuff. The fix for the woofer can be found under the audio/electronics section of clubrsx. Do a search.

if your car fell with in a certain vin number then you need to switch the wires but that is only a 5 inch speaker and we have 6.5 in our car go figure
you wont get crap out of that " woofer"
