i wanted to keep my factory headunit (base rsx) but wanted to put in 2 subs (10's) and a amp i can get the converter to do this for $75 do u think this is worth it, and does anyone have any ideas what sub's and amp will work well with this setup...i was lookin for more bass cuz this car does not have enouf...not somethin crazy that is gonna make my car rattle when i am listen to it...somethin that will sound good on the inside of the car?

i put subs/amp into my type-s without any problems... but then again the bose system is uncompareable to the base model system... u can always try it, just if u go too loud ur speakers will blow!

glad this could be brought back from the dead. :chuckles: jk. I also put the subs in my type-s. Just routed rca's into the stock sub harness.
