HIDs

ok i know there was something posted but if i got a kit for my car, would hte 6000k be too hot? i previously had a turbo mazda mp3 and i had 8000k in there and it ended up burning the lense. any info would be great.

I thought HID's were actually cooler temp than regular bulbs.

hotter from my understanding....
thats why when its cold out you can't keep turning them on or off

yeh i think they are hotter, they take a little while to warm up.
correct me if i'm wrong though.
