Thanks a lot OLDMAN! Can always count on you. If they're not exported to the states where can I find them? I tried the discount tire thing, theres no location in my area :dunno:

I think I'll print out the web page to show Jen and her father since he'll be the one making the purchase. I thought it was a good price. Thanks again.

I'm saying that the particular car is not an export model not the tires. Like JDM Hondas You have to bring them into the country yourself, through an import agent.

I went with a local company here only because it saved me the cost of mounting and balancing, over ordering over the web. If they are for someone that I know doesn't drive to the extremes in the winter, I would order them.

Yeah Jen doesn't really drive to ANY extremes even when its dry and summer time. So she'll hardly be pushing the limits during winter. The only thing would be when I'm at the wheel of the car and there's a dry spell during winter and I feel a little "frisky", but then again, theres too many rocks and salt on the roas during winter so...I guess those will suffice for our purposes.

Hey, Honda Pilot:

How are those snow tires working out? We still haven't gotten any snow here, for me to put mine to the real test yet. Hopefully we will have a white Christmas.

Whats up OLDMAN. Yeah we never ordered those...Jen talked to her father about it and she got some scholorship for college so all her dad has to pay is $504 a semester for Spring and next Fall..

So, her dad is rewarding her by getting her some snow tires hence cost is not an issue any longer

With that said. Here are the new tires that have already been ordered and are being installed on Saturday.

Snow tires for Jens RSX-S

We got like 8 inches of snow on Saturday and the RSX didn't move till Monday morning. My POS Mazda 323 with $38 snow tires from SAM'S club did awesome I don't care what anybody says my car is sooooooooo sweet in the snow.

Don't ask how I know :rick:

That's cool that her Dad's springing for the LM-22 they are an awesome snow tire. That's what most of the guys I talk to on S2ki that have them on their S2000's say. Very few of them take their cars out in the winter, though. They are afraid of hurting it. If we had one it would be a daily driver, but alas no room for our dog.

Yeah I hear they're awesome. But we shall see if they are worth the money they cost. They'll be on by Saturday but no near future snow is forecasted....but I will most certainly keep everybody in the RSX forum posted. Thanks for the insight as always OLDMAN.

And always, always keep room for the pups.
