Hey guys I work with the nhra an i have seen some rwd turbo 4 cyl. . They are all chevy i was wondering if theres anyone out there planning to bring honda into the nhra ?:driving:

It was remarkable for its time.. but as far as I know it never entered competition.

 

That is awsome . I have always wondered about a 4 cyl on nitro . I beleive its the pro stock class theres some cobalt 4 bangers . hopin to see some hondas in there one day . Thanx again for that funny car it will give the guys around the track to see somethan a lil different .

 

True. GM has the Ecotec... Chris Rado has been working with Toyota for quite a while for his Pro FWD cars.

The ITR car stands out not only for the technology (which was pretty impressive for the time) but also the legacy behind the builders. Norwood established themselves with 500 cid+ Top Fuelers, so to see them go out on a limb like that was remarkable. It's a shame things didn't materialize as they'd hoped.
