But gaining position. I can only follow via Live Timing from www.formula1.com, but it looks like Button's reigning R Schumacher in for the lead and Sato's climbing to P13.

Alonso is out, some sort of mechanical failure. Trulli was out first lap because of suspension failure.

Trulli's issue was apparantly with the way the cars launch. They said so much force is put on them that the suspension just crumbled. Guess launch control isn't a bad thing.

Also interesting when Button's stall out software kicked in. How cool is that? It senses when the engine is stalling and dumps it into neutral and the driver just had to push the clutch button twice to reset it and go into first.
