Default Projector headlights

Anyone here have projector headlights on their Prelude? I'm thinking about getting some but a bit concerened with beam pattern and what the light output is actually like.

Pics would be helpful if anyone has some comparison shots of what diffrence a projector headlight has compared to regular.

the only projector lights i would go with is the jdm one piece's

they go for anywhere from 650-800 depening on the site, i saw them being sold on ebay for 300 used, the bulb changes from 9006 to an h4.

they looks sleek and at night when lit puts out a circle light instead of the square. (example bmw lights)

Other than being one piece, are there any other diffrences?

I've seen some decent looking ones on ebay for about $120. Retail shops online for about $200.

jdm projector 1 piece? non-existent. the projectors all suck and are worse then stock in terms of light output.

Damn, compared to my 89 accord... I thought the stock prelude light output sucked.

First time I got into a prelude was at dusk... turned on the lights and had to get out to check if they were actually on. :dunno:

Anyone here actually put the projectors on their Prelude?

Thanks for the info 93accordEX.I knew that the JDM's weren't projector lenses, but I thought they'd be good.Apparently not.The JDM one piece headlights are supposed to be pretty bright though, maybe I'll just stick with those instead, plus I'm sure the fitment is way better.

I've been down the projector path, and it is a very dark one. these things suck ass, even after investing in 2 sets of raybrig bulbs. Get the JDM 1-pieces, they rock. You may have to adjust the beam pattern, though, they are set for right-hand driving (remember, JDM)

not to mention the beam patterns of the aftermarket ones for the imports are terrible and are illegal as of the end of august... i've got H4 headlights on my 3rd gen... i can't wait to get the damn wireharnesses for them b/c they are REALLY bright now! :bigthumb:
