Default taking out a/c ...

i'm planning on taking my a/c out when i get my car back (not cold anymore and i dont use it anyways)

but will there be loose hoses and stuff?

umm yeah....if you take out the compressor you will have the low side and high side hoses just hanging...also make sure you don't get any freon into your eyes...personaly i'd recomend you take it to a professional...hope it helps kid..

i just vented that shit into the atmosphere when i did my first swap.

why take the A/C out when you can simply disable it by buying an alternator only belt
same HP gains

be careful if you pull out the a/c parts under the dash. the heater hose goes inside.
I couldn't take out my a/c, i live in miami florida, really hot and humid

yeah you can vent it the air....just make sure you don't get it in your eyes....

well i dont ever use it and it's just more weight. wouldnt hurt to look into i guess.

yeah if you don't use it and donw't plan selling the car....remove whole a/c system...could save you like 30-40 pounds

its stupid to remove the AC system, buy a goddamn alternator only belt and gain at least 4 HP

really now, then in a few years or whenever you can put the other belt on and sell the car, what the hell is 30-40 pounds going to do for you on the street?
nothing

maybe if your using it as a track car and you want to save AT BEST 1/10 a second from that 30-40 pounds then go ahead and remove that shit.

i win races with my spare+amp+sub+me+g/f+gas all night long
