Default Headlamp assembly?

My 99 Prelude..the drivers side headlamp in the front has yellowed somehow. I think perhaps the car was in a minor fender bender that wasnt reported to Carfax and the headlamp was replaced off a wrecked car but it's irritating, are there no OEM style aftermarket headlamps or a cheaper solution than almost $200 at hondaautomotiveparts.com?

And the driver's side door/window trim is brown and splotty or something..I'd like to replace that too...

Ideas or suggestions?

Try to find used headlights that came off the same car maybe? Is it the actual bulb or the headlamp assembly that's yellowing?

You can polish it out using an orbital polisher(the kind for waxing your car).It works,I polished my signals and also my brother's Integra headlights, looked almost like new.Use the terry cloth pad with a little bit of wax that's it just keep going over and over it until you're happy.Good luck.

ok this is a question about 4th gen lights. I just got a body kit on, and the place where the fog lights go, it looks like there is an extra bracket or somet plastic thing on the left light (looking at it from the front) just under where the light would be.. Is this thing necessary or can I just cut it off because the other side doesnt have it and it works fine. Maybe the other side did have it and it broke off, but it doesnt look like thats what happened...

badguy, i put my kit on like a month ago and i realized the same thing, reading the topic made me think about it and i think im going to just cut it off.

how are you hanging your turn signals? i have the wingswest and theres no way to keep them up, well my right light is holding up ok but yesterday i just realized it went to the side and now you cant see it.

i plan on taking the kit off cutting that black piece of plastic off and just twistie tie the turn signal on.

are you using both pieces of the turn signal or just the front? im only using the front and not the side part, the light still flashes at norm speed.
