Default headlights bulbs

does anyone know why my headlights bulb keeps blow up when I race? they won't go out the same time just one of them will each time, but both lights have this problem. Is it cause I got cheap quality bulbs? does anyone have this problem before, thanks.

When the new PIAA 8000K H1s came out, I had a pair shipped from Japan, and have had them close to a year now with no problem. They are the closest to HID I have seen. These H1s replace the stock bulbs without having the headache of an HID kit. I admit they are not quite as bright as the HIDs, but are real nice with a nice blue glow. (looks great against the blue electron pearl)

My right side Sylvania Silverstar bulb just went out. I noticed that it's been dimmer than the other side for about 4 weeks..... I've thought about replacing my wires just to make sure it's not a short or something.

I'm tired of going through bulbs like water.

when you drive your car hard in autocross or around some serious corners at high revs, they will have more of a chance to blow. doesn't matter what brand bulb.
also if you go to a higher wattage bulb it can burn up your harness

yeah, here is the story... i bought the apc H1's as well... had them about a month.. one went out and i was pissed.. the next night the other burned out, when i was driving up 95 during hurricane isabelle... anyway, from what i can figure is that they draw way too much power than the original wire was meant to handle... the ones i had were "100/133" (wattage) bulbs.. step it back to 55 watts, which is what the wires were meant to handle. otherwise, you may end up having to replace more than just the bulb... i also dont reccomend the apc bulbs.. imho they are junk... not only that, but because of what happened to me, in particular, i will never buy an apc product from now on.... :madfawk: (to apc)
