I've got a 93 Si. She's smoking a bit after 160K miles. I haven't really lost any power in it, and it still purrs like a kitten running, but it puffs blue smoke when starting the car and shifting gears while driving. I'd like to nip this smoking business in the bud so I figure new piston rings and new valve guide seals should do the trick, but I just wanted to know if this is going to put my car out of commission for an extended period of time while I'm installing everything...
