I used the search function and came up with nothing, so basically the car is getting fuel, but doesnt seem to be getting any spark. Is there something on the preludes that is a common occurence of going bad, any help would be appreciated. The car is a next to the last generation, and I believe the engine is a h22a, but not totally sure, sorry I dont know more, thanks for the help.

 

If it's a 5th Gen, 97-01 it could be a fault ignition switch, there was actually a recall on that.

 

No its a 4th gen, so I guess that wouldnt be it, any other suggestions, thanx.

 

Did you guys do a motor swap? If so, did you make sure all the wires were hooked up right and in the right spot

 

Sometimes my car does that too. But I usually can get it started after a few minutes. I was thinking maybe it was the gas Im using or the fuel injector may be clogged or something. Plus sometimes when that happens I open the gas tank and the tank makes a sound like air is rushing in. Like the tank is making a vacuum. I have no idea why though...
