OK quick question I found a 1998 Honda Prelude DOHC (of course) black with black leather and moon roof and alloy wheels..and it's a 5 speed Now here's the catch it is a previous salvaged title 1998 Prelude with high mileage 89k the guy wants $8000.00 Sounds like a reasonable price being it is previously salvaged and has 89k.. Body of car is immaculate...What do you guys think? This is a serious option to me and I need opinions as I have a 91 accord and well I am sure you all know the accord guys love the h22 as much as you do Thanks so much in advance guys...

 

well.... great car.... except for the R-title.... I dunno if I would even take it for $3k.

If anything was not put back 100%.... you'll have all kinds of problems and even then... there's probably going to be a weak spot or 2 in the frame.

I'd hold off on it and keep looking.

 

I would buy it if it was $6k. However, for $8k, I think its gonna be your loss.

I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

i would only ask why its got taht salvage title. cuz if its from a theft its all good but if its from an accident then........meh...look else where....

8 grand...go for something under 7 or around that price.


just ask a shitload of questions more info bout the car the better

 

also depends on your plan with it. if you are using it for the next 10 years then fine. but if your gonna sell it in like 2 years then you are gonna lose out on $.

 

leather was prob aftermarket. I think the canadien versions had a leather option
