Default Intake Causing Fuel Cut?

Ok, here is a very odd question. I installed my short ram intake pipe and filter in my 99 lude the other day. Everything was good (come on its just an intake pipe) the car was running fine, pulling hard. Last night I made a hard 1st gear pull and experienced what I know from my DSM days as fuel cut? I did a few more pulls in 2nd/3rd gear and noticed the same thing. I put the factory intake back in and everything was fine. Is it possible for me to be experiencing fuel cut in the lude? And if so what do you guys recommend for troubleshooting / fixing the problem?

The car was warm, I had probably been driving it for an hour or so.

I've actually heard of this problems before on someone's prelude around here that installed an AEM CAI, this is a longshot, but your MAP sensor(damn h22a4s) could be thinking that there is something wrong with it because of so much airflow, try reseting the ecu, and also maybe unplug the MAP sensor for one run, but it would not be a good idea to leave it unplugged after that

I was talking to a friend of mine and he also recommended I reset the ecu. I think Iwill start there.
