Default coilovers

how long will mystock shocks last if I put on ground controls and lower it 2.5 inches? I will be drving very slowly granny style and I am very easy on my car. How long do you think I can go before having to replace my shocks?

how long is long and also wut if I get a cheaper brand of coilovers is there that muich of a difference between gorund control and cehaper brnads?

they will last years
and like u said u dont drive harsh

well i drive kinda shitty and they still are not blown
i had these gc on for like 6 months now

i also had a 2002 civic with gc and i had that car for like almost 2 years unitl i traded for prelude

i think cheaper brands tend to be more bouncier in my opinion
thats just me though

depends on how old the vehicle is. if your vehicle is over 3 years old, or over 40,000 miles, i'll bet the struts last no more than 6 months before they blow... and the funny part, you probably wont know they're blown until you ride in someone else's car and realize yours bounces like a superball.

also of consideration are the rate of the springs you get on the GC system. a softer spring will tease out more life from your struts.

your best bet is to get a new set of struts so you dont do the labor twice.
