i got an 89 lude with a b20a5 engine. what other engins will bolt into this car? it has pretty high miles, so im thniking of just runing it to the ground stock and saving $$$ for another engine and dump the $$$ i saved into that. any ideas? thanks

 

I definatly wouldn't TRY to harm the engine.... I would save up till you have enough for a direct replacement, b20a5. Then throw on some mods.

Always a good idea to have a backup engine if your nice new one fails. Having 2 dead engines and out $2k.... I think I'd rather get kicked in the nuts 5 times.

so the b20a5 would be the best engine to put into it. i do understand what you were saying, 2 bad engines and all, i guess the new lude engines wouldn't fit in there, or at least not worth the amout of $$$ it would take right? also, what is a round about price on just the labor? any-1 had a swap know? thanks
