Default Just "inherited" a 96 Prelude Si...

Bought my moms 96 Prelude with 47,000 original miles, paid next to nothing for it. Auto... but its ok tho... its my first car. Couple questions... can anyone reccomend a good intake? I just bought my friends old HID lights... off his 02' Nissan Maxima. These are REAL HID's not the fake stuff you buy at your local parts store. I'll upload pics once i get a hold of a digital camera. Thanks for any help!

The AEM uses a K&N filter... but they have the highest quality and most work into making the best tubeing and couplers.

The HID's you have.... did you just plug em in? Or did you have to make any changes to your headlight housing?

Cool thanks for the info... yup the HID's fit right in... no problem there, just finding a spot to mount the power supply for it was tough... those ludes are small under the hood... But it was a pretty easy installation, the Maxima lights fit perfect in the healight housing... coincidental that they fit.

Dang, 47k miles? That's awesome. If you are really into speed. I'd put it up for sale and find a VTEC or a 5spd Si with all the money you could get off that 96. But that's just me.

I, too, vouch for AEM.
