Default 19x8 Axis NE-O.

I was just curious if these wheels will fit properly on my car. I found out that the stock offset on the prelude wheels are 55mm for a 6.5 in wide wheel. My question is will these wheels be to wide? If not what would be the appropriate offset? Thanks for your time.

yea I had to take a baseball bat to them, wooden so it wont scratch the paint. Also wrap it in a towl, oh yea the reason I rub is because I have 42+ offset with 225/40/18 tires, you need something like 215/34/18.

Yeah 19's! The size of the stock tires (205/50/16) are a little over 24 inches in diameter. The 19inch tires (215/35/19) are 24.9 inches. That's not the big deal though I was curious about the width and the offset of the 19x8. The width of the wheel is my concern, should I go with a 7.5 inch wheel?

There are a few guys running 19's but I have no clue about what size tire. I'd say for an offset you want close to 48-50mm with an 8" wheel. Personally I'd go with a 7.5" just to be safe. Try searching the setup section of hondaprelude.com to see what setups people are running.

Well yeah I noticed that the Axis NE-O only came in an 8 inch wide wheel so i was curious if it would fit, but i have since decided to go with the 7.5 to be on the safe side. Yeah I have been skimming through the set-up section on hondaprelude.com but there are so many 5thgeneration Ludes it takes forever!!

But they are sweet! I am thinking about the new Centerline Excel. 19x7.5 and they only weigh 15lbs.

Even though the wheel weight is low the tire weight is going to be a lot still. My Rota 17*7 weigh 17.5lbs but the wheel tire combo comes in at 42lbs. Making the tires in 215-45-17 24lbs each.

Have you been able to find anyplace that sells the Centerlines yet? I was looking at another one of their wheels a while back and couldn't find anyone to give me offsets.
