My h22 still makes strange noise....PLEASE HELP
Just the clutch master cylinder, about a $130 part. In doing this they changed the clutch fluid too. I'm really prety easy with my shifting. I may shift at hi rpms but I never do clutch dumps. I do slip the clutch to 2000 rpm on take offs from lichts some times when I'm not paying attention or traffic is right on my a$$.
I must say it shifts MUCH better now. I was getting some chattering engagements from rest before they changed the master cyl. I thought it was because my clutch was wearing, but all is good and smooth now. Do you slip the clutch a litle from rest sometimes? I really don't want to do this, but I'd been used to domestics (Ford Mustamgs, Taurus SHOs) as far as clutch goes. Those cars could take off from rest without slipping the clutch, just ease of the pedal, then give it gas. With the Prelude I have to carefully coordinate releasing the clutch WHILE easing down on the gas. What's your experience??
