i was wondering what would be a better deal. buying a JDM engine and tuning it up from there or just going with the engine already in the prelude and using the money to buy a turbo. And what are the advantages to JDM engines.

 

well if you already have an H22 under the hood keep that unless it's junk.

a 92-96M H22 has higher compression 10:6:1 so it makes 197hp and 161lb/ft torque. it also has a closed deck design. if you want to go turbo, your better off starting with a USDM motor.
