A/C Filters
This not earth shattering information, but it may be overlooked..
I have a 2000 with 42k on it. I know that have to do a coolant flush and fill. The maintenance schedule also says to check/replace the air conditioning filters for the cabin. The access to this is behind the glovebox. Once you take the glove box out, you have access to the two filters for the AC.
Mine were horrid. These filters get about (im guessing) 3x as dirty as the intake filter. I called Honda to find that they were $33 each! But Levittown didnt have any in stock. Went to the local auto parts store to find that they didnt have anything close to fitting it. I called another dealer in Babylon and am now $66 lighter for my effort..

Yep, just replaced mine for the first time (82k on the odometer) and they were absolutely caked. I called around to pretty much every Cleveland area Honda dealer and found them for 30.00 each (got quoted as high as 42.00
) If 4th gen Preludes have them, I think they should be in the same spot (behind the glovebox). I don't know if they had this for 92-96 models. It's easy to check, though. Just drop the glove box and you should see a plastic clip right in plain view. Remove the clip, and if you see two white frames with the words "air flow" and a directional arrow printed on them, you have it.
