Default Hint on Exhaust systems

ok, I just had the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion installed on my car. Here is a hint to all of you who are looking to buy a cat back system. If you want the loudest god damn exhaust ever created for import cars, buy the super racind medallion. I heard a lot of hype about how loud the exhaust is, but i wasn't sure that I believed it. When I started my lude up and rev'd it, oh my god. I was driving home last night and I set off a car alarm that was a block away! I mean this thing is some serious noise. And I was also somewhat supprised also. I heard that the SRM had a really deep deep noise, but it sounded more like a R-1 motorcycle. BUT! I will say that it gives EXCELLENT performance power wise. I was afraid of loosing some low end acceleration, but I didnt loose any. Infact, my acceleration and gear shifts seem to be smoother. anyways, to all those who are looking for a quiet/medium sounding exhaust, DONT GET THE TANABE RACING SUPER MEDALLION! but those who want serious noise, grab it in a heart beat!

Eh, that's what I thought about my Bosal cat-back in my Del Sol, but I've ended up liking it more and more and more. It's quite loud - doesn't set off car alarms, though - and reminds me of the good old days of tiny British roadsters with ridiculously booming exhaust; anyone whose seen the movie The Birds, the car that the main lady drives is what I'm talking about. Small car, loud exhaust. It's all good...

If I had ANY way of recording it, I would do it in a heartbeat. But I just don't know how to a) drag my car into my bedroom where the computer is or b) drag the computer out to the car, where the exhaust is.

I guess I need to find a way to record it with some small tape player and then record THAT using the computer mic. The quality won't be ideal, but it will work.

I'll give it a try and let you know if it works out. Any other methods are appreciated.

Hey LilBri. I'll try using my dads cam to record my car and let you see how it looks. I'll try and get the vid on here as soon as possible. Not sure If i'll be able to do it, but i'll try. I'll reply again in a few days to tell how it goes.
