Starting problem
I luv my 92 prelude SI. It has been almost a problem free car. Recently, the car for some strange reason just will not start. It happens sometimes when hot, and sometimes when it is cold. When it happens it sounds like it wants to start and even has a strong spark but doesn't run. I can let it sit for 5 minutes to an hour and it will start up and run fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks for all your help,
Wesley

This exact problem happened with my 92 Accord. Sometimes start up fine..other times would crank and crank and crank, and never start. Wait 20 mins? It would start easily.
It was the main fuel relay...ask a dealer if they share components. $80 later the prob was solved. Let me know how you do!

I was guessing that it might be fuel related but it never happened when I was near a can of instant start so that I could test my theory. I will call the dealer and ask them about that relay. Thanks a million for your thoughts.
