I have a large compacted spring under my passenger seat, hanging from the rear of the seat underneath. I don't know what it goes to, it is still attached to the left underside, but I don't know where the other end conncets to. I guess from constantly moving the seat back and forth it just popped loose, but does anyone have any idea s to what it connects to? The spring is short and about as round as a roll of quarters. Can someone look under their seat and tell me if they see this spring stretched across or what, and what it should properly connect to. I hate to drive 20 minutes to my Honda dealer to just ask about a seat spring.

 

If you take the seat out or maybe even look under it, you'll see a little hole in which one side of the spring connects to. You put it in there and that is what will have your seat go foward whenever you lift the latch without you pushing it forward yourself....
