I recently adjusted my valve clearance on my 93 Prelude 2.3. I did it to my manual's specs which was .007ex and .004int. I double checked the clearances then took it for a drive. It ran fine, but when I popped the hood after it was warmed up, it smelled like something was burning. I am worried that I might have done the clearance too tight burning the valves.
Any input would be great.
you're sure it was cold, and not just cool? Usually the best thing to do is let it sit for a good 12-24 hours. You probably did that part right anyway. Lol, cross your fingers, maybe it was just a plastic bag.
