ecu code

My car is throwing code 22 it says the vtec oil preesure switch is bad but vtec opens just fine. Ayone know whats going on?

that's not VTEC you're hearing. that's the secondary intake runners opening up.

when the oil pressure switch goes bad, VTEC operation ceases to prevent possible engine damage.
read about it in your shop manual.
