Speedometer needle sticking, what to do?

I noticed today while on the interstate my Speedo needle was sticking at 61, 71, and 80 mph, also it sometimes just sticks at a lower speed and jumps up to a higher speed. I was thinking it was because the backing on my white face gauges may be coming up and causing it to stick, but everything looks fine, any reason this may happen, have any of you noticed this prob, by the way it's a 5th gen.
Did you buy the white NR guage faces? The brand really doesn't have anything to do with your problem, but they're the ones I bought.
The first thing I can tell you is that if you used the tape they provide for you, you just wasted alot of time. The problem you're having is probably right at the center of the guage where the needle attaches. It looked like my needles had plenty of clearance, but they didn't. When you put the bezel (i.e. the instrument cluster housing) back on the guages, it's causing the center to raise slightly, binding your speedo needle. In my case, I grabbed some super glue and made damn sure I had the guages centered before applying the glue.
Since then, I've had no probs. Hope that helps and good luck ...
