Anyone here into racing? Auto x or strip I wanna hear about it. The majority of the topics in here are mostly cosmetic and about ricey stuff like altezza tails and led washer sprayers. Lets hear about engine/suspension mods and QM times.

 

i'm pretty new to this board, mostly on TPC (toronto board).

no QM times or been to a track yet, finishing my suspension with koni's and ST sways soon so i can do a fun trip at a track.

how about you guys?

 

i autocross my Street Mod class 97 Prelude in Solo II and ProSolo events.

 

Right now I have only raced on the QM. In my 95 lude that I totalled last fall I ran a 15.57 and backed it up with a 15.59 for my best time. The 94 lude I have now is stock and I haven't ran the qm in it yet. I would love to do an autocross someday when i get all of my suspension done, but that wont happen until later in the summer.

 

i'm set for autox...but no track. QM is boring.

koni yellows, spring, struts, engine mods. but no where except a 1/4 to use it on....except for a few street courses i made. but they are building houses there now :madfawk:

 

auto-x seems to be good for the lude, as for the qm, they wont accel there because they are so heavy, and you will have to put a lot of money into it just to keep up with a b16 hatch, then if the b16 hatch has any mods it will open the gap even further.....

 

I like to see what I can get out of my lude though. I dont care if I am the fastest car I just want to be able to beat a fair share of Muscle cars and then i will be happy. It sure is a good feeling to beat a car with a V8.

 

which v-8s have you beat so far?

 

i got a 93 prelude s copletely stock what do you think it will run? its got that shitty f22 motor in it so im thinkinh 17's if that? compared to my bros integra its fast but not as good as anything you guys have, the other day i smoked a jetta but thats no bigey.

 

a little better then 17. my friends 4dr automatic accord ran a 17.3 lol (ran at track for fun)
