The redline should be the same as the h23. The things that will add rpm's are lighter flywheel, lighter internals, cams, ecu's, stuff like that.

we dont know cause its only the wagon in japan, there is none in the us. its pretty hard to get information on it. most people tell me it doesnt even exist. they also come in 4wd. would make a killer swap to get everything into another car somehow.

From what i found out, the h23 vtec is not worth the money. They are hard to find and the h22 has more potential. With the motor being hard to find the price is very high.

why does h22 have more potential? they are basically the same except h23a obviously has more displacement. also osakajdmmotors listed it for 1900 i think but i dont know if you can trust anything with that site or if they can even get it. I bet the h23a will become more popular once the engine is older in a few years.

H22 has more potential because the longer stroke of the h23 will not allow for as many rpm's. Usually a motor capable of more rpm's will be able to produce more power.
