H23A1 engine question 92 prelude
Hello all,
Last week I did the timing belt job on the Prelude (1992 Si). Everything went well except I had a belt I ordered from hparts.com that did not fit (31110-P12-A02) This I assumed was the alternator/ac belt. I called hparts.com and got a rma, but they informed the engine for my VIN should have 3 accessory belts as listed below. They said 31110-p12-a02 is the alternator belt.
56992-p13-003 - power steering belt
38920-p14-a02 - a/c belt
They suggested that since I am not the original owner, the engine may have been replaced since I have only the ps belt and a combined ac/alternator belt. Is hparts.com right about this being a possible replacement engine?
