Anyone ever install a seat belt harness on a 91 Prelude? The factory belt hardware broke and Honda of America says it may be months before they can get the part. I am buying a Schroth harness but am told I'll have installation problems. The factory seat belt is in the door, so there is no place to mount the front of the harness to the floor. Does anyone have any experience with this? Honda actually told me the car was obsolete and I shouldn't expect parts to be available.

If I remember correctly I think on the 3rd gen preludes there was a recall for the seat belt. If you look into it you may be able to get it fixed for free.
