Selling Prelude est price?
I am sad to say that I have to sell my current 2001 prelude(5sp *sobs*). Im trading it in for a 2001 TL. Anyhow, my question is should I trade it in at a Honda dealership or Acura, etc etc. I have to trade it in because both my front and rear frame is severly damage(freaking mustang driver who wasn't paying attention almost hit me from behind and I sweared to avoid him and jump the curb, basically flying for .5 seconds). Repair on the car is an est. 5k with labor...and so through lots and lots of suggestion from my friends who are mechanics, they say trade it in and take what you are offered, just don't tell dealer(?). anyways, any help is greatly appreciated.

If the car has been cosmetically repaired and you can't see the damage without a very close inspection, definitely trade it. Because if you sell it, people will take the time to inspect the car with a fine tooth comb and mabe not even want it for free. You have a much better shot at getting a trade if there are no glaring problems.
well, my uncle(mechanic) said you can't really see it unless they lift it and really look. Other then that, my car only has like 2 scratches(chips, no biggie). Dealer at acura est. 14k for it. So would Honda give me more(?) or should i just unload it at acura and get my TL?
