i would say go with intake, exhaust, and then if u want go to headers or cams or somethin. if your planing on something more then id say go for an h22. i got an S too and the f22 sucks. if u wanna be up their with the big boys its pointless running on an f22.

I would go H22 VTEC first.... anything else is addons.

And sometimes a responce doesn't always come within 30 mins... give it time... not everyone is always on HAN... needs some time to get coverage.

Well you seem to be leaning more towards the making it "look" fast than actually being fast. Anyone with a Prelude will tell you that if you want speed, start with Si or VTEC. The Prelude S has a weak engine, I have one... it's not fast.

If you happen to race with anything, most of the time you'll loose. Most simple boltons for the F22 probably won't get you above 150hp. Si, stock, is 165hp. VTEC, stock, is 190-200hp.

I'm really thinking of selling my S and getting a VTEC.... problem is getting close to "breaking even" as possible.

Default nice guys

i know you guys are mostly on making it fast but, when a car is praked can you tell how fats it is? i want my car to look good and show some quality sound out the back pipe, im no rich boy so i cant afford the conversion motors, but i do want to put some power under the hood, what is the most power i could get with like new headers, intake, exhaust and some other stuff i dont know about, see i dont know much since i just got the car and its my first, but i wanna make it ride with some pull

well... a parked car that 'looks' fast is kinda like the big thugged out guy that cries when you pinch him.

basically, you're talking crap and not being able to back it up. that's what everyone that knows anything about cars is pretty much thinking. i'm not trying to put you down, just trying to let you know of a view in our eyes.

with all the main bolt ons, you wont get that much power... you might get up to almost what i stock SI is.

like previously stated, you get whooped if anyone tries to race you...especially a VTEC model.

a body kit and other "looks" stuff are neat though. that will cost you more then engine work though. (the basic bolt ons anyways)

i'll post later when i have some time. just try to figure out what you want to do. i'm guessing looks with a few bolt ons. clarify it some and i'll answer any questions you might have (along with all the other great HAN members)
