Default Low Temp Thermostats

Hey does anyone know if there are any companies that make or sell 160 degree thermostats for Ludes. I could have swore Hypertech did, but I looked on their website and they don't have them for imports. The best I have found so far is 172 degrees Any help would be appreciated

if you REALLY wana run cold, and you're in a temperate climate year around, just remove your stock thermostat and pull the plunger. all thermostats have a "fail open" feature to prevent engine overheating should the thermostat fail. there's spring clips that will hold the plunger open if you pull it all the way oout, bsically simulating a ruined/overexpanded wax pellet.

it'll take your motor a bit longer to warm up properly, but will of course allow you to run with full cooling at all times... but when a motor is at full operating temp, the thermostat rarely closes once opened. it's basically there only to assist in proper warm up.
