I bought a 89Si 2 years ago. I drove it daily until a couple months ago when I purchased a 95VTEC (Hell ya, woohah!!). The 89 was kinda on it's last leg (engine and paint). It has been sitting for the past couple of months, I've only taken it out once a week since I got my new lude. What I'm wondering is if I should keep the old car as a project or just sell it and get a different project car? I really liked the 89 when I first got it and would love to turn it into a totally tuned racer. But the lack of horsepower available sucks, but I could live with that. By the way the 95VTEC is my daily-driver. Anyway if you were in my shoes, WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

-Tune the old car.
-Find another project

Tune the 95, much better looking and has a lot more potential for horsepower like you stated the 89 lacked. JMO

 

yeah just tune the '95 prelude..but if that's not one of your options, it's really all up to you..if you don't want to see that '89 gone..then you should work on that..but i think u can find an old civic hatch for cheap and make it pretty quick..jus my .02
