THATPRELUDEGUY:

What are your thoughts and/or experiences with the so called "RAM" or short intake. Is it worth replacing the stock intake with the short air intake so as to avoid the water issue all together? I know I can do some net research, but I have noticed a vendor will say about anything to get you to buy their products. If anyone else out there in cyberspace has a second to respond I would greatly appreciate it. I own a '01 with about 50K on the odometer and will soon be replacing all the expendable OEM parts for aftermarket. I feel that if I need to replace, I might as well improve the performance of the car, as opposed to the look of the car.

Thank you in advance for your time.

If I were going to go short ram I would ONLY consider a Prelude Type S intake. It retains the stock lower portion of the intake but from the TB to the filter it's huge. It will probably make the same or better gains and it will be much safer.
