Default 2.3l Dohc

Alright heres the Question. I have a 92 Prelude Si with a 2.3 DOHC. I needed to take the Head off so I can take it into the shop ( I live in Bellingham which is in northwest washington, so if you know of any shops that I can go to that do good fair priced work tell me) The guy estimated 350.00 if I bring the head in to him, and around 600.00 if I take the car into him. I took everything off of the head and started to take off the head bolts and one of them wont budge, so I got out my breaker bar and it did not move and striped the head of the # 6 bolt which is a 14mm. I have tryed everything to get it off and its not comeing off. I am about to give up and put it all back together and take it in. Is there anything I am not trying that I can do to get the bolt off? Also (again) if you know of a cheaper shop I can go to up here please tell me. Thanx in advance.

Patience. It's only been an hour and a half. You cross posted to at least 2 forums, I'm sure you'll get an answer.

If I had any clue, I'd certianly tell you. But I don't. There are plenty of people that frequent this FREE message board.
