Default vibration please help

hey, I have a 99 prelude, base, 5spd, 54K miles on it....... and when it idles it tends to have vibration on the steering wheel...... the idle does not fluctuate, it stays steady, and it stays at around 7 or 800 rpms, so its not because the idle is too low..... I checked the front three mounts and they are ok, just cannot get at the rear mount to inspect it so maybe this could be it.... here are the things ive tried to solve it which didnt work..... spark plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, TB cleaner, fuel injector cleaner, octane boost, also, it will do it more when i use power such as headlights, a/c, windows..... someone suggested to me that it could be the battery so i have yet to replace that, it also seems to do it more when the weather is cold outside, even when the car is fully warmed so someone told me it could have something to do with the coolant..... I did a compression check and it is ok so thats not the prob, I am out of ideas, any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks, also, the valve lash is ok they are not too tight so that isnt the prob either.....

its very simple man, i have a 93 Si, stick and i had the same problem, so what i did, i just set my rpm level a lil higher, u will need a flat head screw driver, you can find that screw somewhere around the throttle body, or just ask your mechanic to do for it, it should idle a lil bit below 1 right now, but when i did mine, i set it a lil bit above 1. At start up, its a lil above 1, but right when the car warms up, its back right under 1, and i dont have that vibration problem. hope this helps

well i did raise it a little bit, and it still vibrates a lil, just not as much, someone told me that when you do that you are just compensating for the problem instead of solving it, because other peoples do not have that same vibration at the low idle, I am going to change the driver side mount then ill post the results, thanks....

oh i know, i could make it go away if i made it idle higher, but arent the ludes sposed to idle somewhere around 500-700 if 5spd? If the mount isnt the prob ill either have to raise it or live with it, thanks for your help I appreciate it.

k thanks, there are a few other people trying to figure out the vibration problem right now also... The reason I think its the driver sound mount is that most of the vibration is felt on the driver side, and I put a spacer in there and it went away for a while til it squashed the spacer, so I think the mount is bad....
