Default too rich....

my lude is running a lil too rich, are there any ways to tune it so it will not run as rich? I know the v-afc may be one way, but will that allow me to have the air/fuel ratio tuned correctly or not? some people say yes some people say no, any feedback will be appreciated

you can make the fuel curve optimum for the v-afc if you get it dynoed.

basically, they will play with it, looking at a hp and torque graph each time, and leave it at the setting where it makes the most power. usually optimum power is ~13.3 - 13.5 i believe

someone told me i can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and get an air/fuel ratio gauge and do it that way...... would that be safe or would I still be in danger of making it run too lean or too rich w/o a dyno test?

well you'd have to adjust the modifier. so.. you'd be depriving yourself of a afc. that would be better.

if you spend money on your car, you might as well make it worth it.

i have a b&m fuel modifier and vafc... the fuel modifier wouldnt make it run more lean/rich though
