Default A Header ?

Who makes the best Prelude (H22) headers and what are the primary pipe diameters and lengths?

Mods: If you feel this belongs in engine tech I apologize, but I am looking for Prelude specific info.

well, if you are talking about "the best" header for the prelude without regarding the price than I would have to say mugen, which run around a thousand bucks, which IMO is crazy for a header, but yeah for price/performance than DC makes one of if not the best headers.

Pipe size? Primary tube length? I'm doing a custom header for an engine with cylinder configuration (disp, valve size and timing) similar to the H22. The math is giving me a 1.5" primary about 30-36" long (depending on where you want to put the torgue peak). Just trying to see if the math gets close to the real world.

The best ones I've seen on the U.S. market is from Mugen. It has a lightened flanges and the bends are the best I've seen. The only downside is the price.

I hear lots of good things about DC. Most cars that I see on here and other places have DC sports headers as their choice.

IMO getting a header is pointless. Look at the piping size of an aftermarket header compared to your stock header, they are about the same size piping, so you're pretty much wasting your money when you buy a header. I say save your money and buy something that will actually help your car such as Pullies or a V-TEC controller

You're be paying like $300 for about 1-2 hp and to me, that is just a waste of money for that much HP. You're just paying for the name and thats about all
