Default Clutch recommendation

I have a 2k lude with minor modifications. I am looking for a nice set of clutch. Please post your experience with your aftermarket clutch. Thanks.

i'd look into ACT extreme cluitches. they grab really nice and can handle alot of power. Might wanna read up on which dick to get with it. http://www.advancedclutch.com/

just so ya know, usually aftermarket clutches tend to make the clutch a little stiffer. you get used to it, and you'll be barking 2.nd and 3rd in no time.

they also grab as soon as you let off the clutch a little bit..at least mine does. it's an awesome feeling. :-)

clutchmasters is another reputable company.

ACT and a lightened flywheel is the way to go. May as well do both mods at the same time so you dont have to pay double for having the tranny pulled off

watch out for the stage 3 and up clutches because you can't lighten your flyweel and if your in there you might as well buy a lighter flyweel or shave yours down. you will get a big power gain. just thought Id let you know. good luck!

why cant you install a lightend flywheel with a stage 3 clutch? i have had mine in for about a year with no problems that i can tell, i am not easy on my car by any means. ACT Extreme pressure plate (very very heavy clutch, very quick engagement with a nice slip if wanted, makes your leg very tired though) and a Street-Strip clutch.

I don't need to replace mine for a while, but when it is time to replace my clutch, do these aftermarket clutches last as long or longer than the Honda factory clutch? Let's say 120,000 miles is the time for me to replace it. Could I get one to last longer? I don't have the intention of boosting performance as much as reliability (I drive alot, freeway mostly). I may do some lightweight racing now and then, but I don't really beat on the car too much. So is a beefed up clutch overkill for my needs? I understand the pedal feel will be different, but since I drive about 25,000 miles a year, reliability outweighs performance in that respect.

i would then get a ACT Heavy Duty-pressure plate and a street/strip clutch. Great pedal feel and response, awesome engagement and will last longer than stock as it is a beefed up version of stock. p/n HA3-HDSS, if your interested, i can get you a deal on one.
