Body Kit Questions
Im looking into a kit for my 01 prelude and i was wondering if anyone had trouble with fitment when they went to attach it and if so which companies would u recommend to stay away from or get one from?
well...what's been my experience with them, is get a reputable company (ex VIS) to buy your kit from. Some companies mold look-alikes, and they are sometimes cheesy.
when you put a bodykit on, 9/10 chance it wont fit perfect...like your OEM peice did. You have to bond-o it, sand it down, just 'touch it up' to make it look natural. some kits are severly warped, bent, or have ugly spots in them. i knew i guy that had to send his kit back to JTAUtostyle 7 times before he got one that somewhat fit.
also, beware that if you mismatch kit parts, make sure the body lines are similar
if you dont, you might be in for a big surprise!
hope that helps...if not, post away.

Since it's so hard to find the OEM kit now, I'd say go get your self a greddy front lip, it fits the 5th Gen preludes nicely, paint ur sideskirts(if you have a base model), and then your set. I think it is a very affrodable setup.
