Default Mp1a Auto tranny filter

Hi to all.I was wondering if auto trannies on preludes has a transmission filter inside.I have searched the manual photos and didn't find any.If yes where is it placed? My tranny is mp1a.
Also I've read that mp1a's come with and without lsd's.How can I check if my tranny has lsd?
Thanks.

Honda FWD transmissions have internal filters that are not serviceable. A proper transmission fluid change is about the best you can do for cleaning out the transmission. DO NOT power flush your transmission though. You need to drain the old fluid, refill it with new Honda fluid, drive around for a little, then repeat the process. The recommended amount of times to do this is 3 times. Power flushing will cause the internal filter to release trapped particles and will force these particles to get trapped all over your transmission, causing to fail shortly after. You can do a search on this forum or on google for prelude transmission codes to see if you have a LSD.
