Is there any Vtec engine that can be swapped into a 90 prelude si without too many custom modifications? I have seen an H22a dropped in, but I don't want to spend that much money...how bout a b16? Is there anything I can do to the exisiting engine (b21a1?)

custom mods to fit an H22 is a must... can you say "solid motor mounts?" you'll need new motor mounts even if you stay with the b16 engine...

There's no cable tranny that I could think of for a H22 swap. The only cable trannies were the EF Civic/CRX up to 91 & Integra's 90-93.
H22's I believe were only hydro out of Preludes no cable.
